"The Clinic at Walmart" Operated by ValleyCare Medical Foundation Opens November 21 Offering Convenient, Affordable Care

ValleyCare Medical Foundation's in-store clinic inside Livermore Walmart expands access to basic health care services

Livermore, CA – Walmart (NYSE: WMT) and ValleyCare Medical Foundation, in affiliation with ValleyCare Physicans Associates, today announced Livermore’s newest location for basic health care services – “The Clinic at Walmart” operated by ValleyCare Medical Foundation. This convenient care clinic will open November 21 at 10am inside the Walmart located at 2700 Las Positas Road.

The clinic will provide convenient, affordable access to basic health care services, seven days a week, with no appointment necessary. The walk-in health clinic is the first owned and operated by ValleyCare Medical Foundation, in a Walmart. The clinic will be open for walk-in care Monday-Friday 10am - 7pm, Saturday 11am - 6pm and Sunday Noon - 6pm.

For busy customers who need care, especially after working hours or on weekends, the clinic will treat common health ailments and offer routine services. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sore throats
  • Sinus infections
  • Upper-respiratory infections
  • Earaches
  • Bladder infections
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Vaccinations
  • Routine physicals
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Suture removal
  • Fever
  • Migraine
  • Heart burn
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Seasonal allergies
