Clinical Integration Offers Help
Living Strong Living Well (LSLW) is a twelve-week small group strength and fitness training program designed for adult cancer survivors who have recently become de-conditioned or chronically fatigued from their treatment and/or disease. Our goal is to help patients build muscle mass and muscle strength, increase flexibility and endurance; and improve functional ability and quality of life. For more information please go to the LSLW website at lslw.stanford.edu.
Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab - Phase 4
Phase 4 involves resistance training and cardiorespiratory activity for individuals with controlled cardiovascular, pulmonary or metabolic disease.
Regular exercise helps control blood sugars, increases good cholesterol (HDL) and maintains optimal weight.
Post-Physical Therapy and Reconditioning/Injury Prevention
Corrective and safe exercise for recently discharged physical therapy patients.
Regular exercise is critical both before and after weight-loss surgery for long-term lifestyle change.
