 The Course at Wente Vineyards is a destination championship golf course that is one of the most beautiful and challenging in the Northern California wine country. Located 45 minutes east of San Francisco, The Course's 18 championship holes play through the vineyards, rolling hills, and natural grasslands of the scenic Livermore Valley at Wente Vineyards. The Course at Wente Vineyards is host of the Wine Country Championship, the 5th stop on the PGA's Nationwide Tour. This annual tournament begins with a BBQ lunch provided by McNamara's Steak and Chop House at the beautiful Hill Course at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. Beverages, games and activities on the course are followed by dinner and raffle at The HopYard Alehouse in Pleasanton. Funds raised benefit the ValleyCare Health Library and Ryan Comer Cancer Resource Center.

The Tri Valley Memorial golf tournament is presented by Dentists Against Cancer, a registered 501 c (3) Non-Profit. The event proceeds will go to benefit ValleyCare's "Mammograms for Women in Need Fund." The fund provides money to women unable to afford the cost of a mammogram.

  Colon cancer is the third most diagnosed cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death in the United States. The best time to detect colon cancer is before symptoms develop. Over the past 10 years, death rates from colon cancer have decreased due in large part to early detection and the removal of precancerous polyps. ValleyCare is hosting the 4th Annual Colon Cancer 5K Walk to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of early detection through screening.

Held the weekend before Thanksgiving, Christmas Tree Lane brings the sights and sounds of the holidays to you and your family. Dozens of lavishly decorated trees, wreaths and garlands create a breathtaking array of color and lights to transform the Palm Event Center into a Christmas wonderland. With three days of special events, including photos with Santa, holiday performances, specialty gift shops, exciting auctions and more, Christmas Tree Lane truly is the holiday event of the season!
Wonderland Family Stroll
Thursday evening. Bring the whole family and stroll through the enchanted forest of Christmas Tree Lane. Enjoy simple holiday fare and treats. Kids can shop for their parents in Santa's Secret Shop and visit with Santa Claus!
The Tinsel and Christmas Tea
Friday morning and afternoon. Walk through a magical indoor forest as you preview the sparkling Christmas trees, enjoy holiday shopping, and bid on unique silent auction gift baskets. Purchase your chance-drawing tickets for the trees and spectacular china table setting.
Silent Night Soiree
Friday evening. Featuring a silent auction of exquisite gift baskets, sit-down dinner, no-host cocktails, dessert auction and entertainment. Spend a relaxing evening with friends and delight in the sights and sounds of Christmas.
Silver Bells Luncheon
Saturday Gourmet Luncheon. Enter the glittering wonderland of lights and colors. Visit the Merry Gentlemen to purchase tree and china raffle tickets, or bid on dozens of unique silent auction gift baskets and designer decorated wreaths. Enjoy holiday fare and entertainment with friends around your table.
Community Involvement Welcome
We welcome community participation in Christmas Tree Lane. Corporate and individual sponsorships are available; and gifts-in-kind donations; tree, wreath and vignette decorators are needed. There are also many opportunities to volunteer on the Christmas Tree Lane Committee. Volunteers and sponsors are the heart and soul of Christmas Tree Lane.
