What Brings Satisfaction?
Studies show that volunteering does. Those who volunteer are frequently happier, more content, often find new friendships and expand their horizons in ways they never expected.
Just ask any one of the more than 300 volunteers of the ValleyCare Auxiliary if they enjoy their work. These caring men and women have unselfishly given their time and talent to help patients and visitors at ValleyCare's medical facilities for more than 50 years.
Caring and Compassion
Our volunteers often provide comfort to an entire family during the anxious hours of a medical emergency, or offer encouraging words to a patient awaiting surgery.
Others put their talents to good use in the Thrift Shop and Gift Shops raising funds for scholarships, equipment and the state-of-the-art facilities and services you have come to expect from ValleyCare.
Being a volunteer does require a commitment, but the amount of time you can devote is up to you. Many positions are available that are sure to fit your schedule.
